Students Shine in National Girls’ Maths Challenge

Thirty-two of our Year 10 and 11 girls recently took part in the MUKMT Girls’ Maths Challenge, a brand-new competition running across the country.

The challenge was designed to stretch and inspire students, encouraging them to tackle maths problems in creative and strategic ways.

This exciting event complements our curriculum by reinforcing the problem-solving strategies we use in lessons, while giving students the chance to apply their skills in a competitive setting.

We are proud to share that our students achieved fantastic results, earning numerous merit awards and even one distinction award – a brilliant accomplishment that reflects their hard work and determination.

Well done to everyone who took part. This experience has not only celebrated their talent but also shown how perseverance and teamwork can lead to success.
