Newbridge Girls Win Big at Let’s Get Moving Awards

The event, run by North West Leicestershire Active Together, celebrates schools, teams and individuals who have shown outstanding skill, dedication and inspiration across a range of sports. Our team was nominated by the School Sports Partnership following an incredible season that saw them crowned both area and county champions.

The girls dominated the local and county rounds without losing a single game. They are a united group who excel in both singles and doubles, demonstrating skill, resilience and sportsmanship throughout.

Having been presented with their award by Ian Stringer, a well-known radio broadcaster, Isabelle and Ruby spoke confidently on stage, praising the opportunities available to them in PE and sport.

We are extremely proud of their achievements and how they represented The Newbridge School, not only at the badminton events but also at the awards ceremony.
