Newbridge School's Year 11 Computer Science Trip to Bletchley Park

Our Year 11 Computer Science group recently embarked on a fascinating journey to Bletchley Park, where history and technology collided in an exciting learning experience.

As part of the day's activities, our students delved into the intricate world of encryption. From unraveling the past to exploring the present and peering into the future, they engaged in a comprehensive course that deepened their understanding of this crucial aspect of computer science.

The students also got the opportunity to wander through the halls of Bletchley Park, soaking in the historical significance of the site. Walking in the footsteps of the codebreakers of World War II.

The interactive exhibits at Bletchley Park offered our students a hands-on experience, bringing data to life and showcasing the profound impact of codebreaking during the Second World War.

We are immensely proud of our Year 11 Computer Science group. Their excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and curiosity truly reflects the spirit of Newbridge School.

We're committed to providing enriching opportunities that shape bright futures, with an education that goes beyond the classroom.
